A headlamp with variable illumination characteristics comprises a housing (2) with a cavity, a refractor (19), a rotation axis (4) arranged across the cavity of the housing (2), first and second reflectors (5, 6) which are secured on the rotation axis (4) and are oriented towards each other by the backsides thereof, first and second electric bulbs (7, 8) which are fastened to the front face of the corresponding reflectors (5, 6), a means for turning and locking the rotation axis (4) together with the first and second reflectors (5, 6) and the first and second electric bulbs (7, 8) so that one of the electric bulbs (7, 8), together with the respective reflector (5, 6), is brought into an operating position, and a power supply means for supplying electricity to the electric bulb (7, 8) which is in the operating position. The first electric bulb (7) with the first reflector (5) and the second electric bulb (8) with the second reflector (6) are designed so that the illumination produced thereby in the operating position has different characteristics. |
