The invention relates to medical psychology, in particular, to a method of psychotherapy for reducing an excess weight. The method is proposed for reducing an excess weight, characterized in that a psychotherapeutic contract is signed binding the patient to follow a rational dietary pattern, and carrying out a psychotherapy course, comprising at least four face group sessions totally lasting for 4-7 days, between which the patient performs absent self-instruction procedures, using printed methodological recommendations concerning psychology and dietology of rational eating behavior and also a control meeting after at least 25 days of the course initiation, characterized in that a rational psychotherapy is performed at each session, wherein at the first session the target strategies of rational eating behavior is presented, while at further sessions the target eating behavior is supported and/or corrected, deviating from the target, wherein at the last session to suggest confidence as a guideline in self-instruction realization of the aimed strategies, wherein at the absent self-instruction procedures positive effects f weight reduction are marked in the first interval between sessions, then positive effects of overeating and overweight are marked and, at last a list of alternative pleasure list is formed not associated with food consumption, at first session a problem of overweight with a person personality is considered using a method of psychosynthesis, the first three sessions are devoted to indirect psychotherapy, comprising physical therapeutic action and a suggestion a patient that promote weight reduction, at the second and third sessions the suggestion is supported by induction of altered state of consciousness (ASC) by holotropic breathwork, wherein at the second session aversion relative to an image product is further formed causing neurotic drive and at the third session relative to a real product causing the neurotic drive provided further use thereof in a diet in the process of reducing the weight, at each session at least once ASC is induced in combination with audiovisual stimulation (AVS) by a method of directed visualization by relaxation and/or meditation, wherein at least at one session earlier given suggestions and/or setting are to be fixed. The technical result is aimed at enhancing efficiency of traditional methods of psychotherapy, excluding the influence of psychotherapeutist personality on the treatment effectiveness, enhancement of the effect stability. |
