PURPOSE: A driving control module for an inertial sensor and a control method thereof are provided to reduce performance degradation of the inertial sensor and reduce load of the inertial sensor. CONSTITUTION: A driving control module (100) for an inertial sensor comprises an inertial sensor (110), a driving unit (120), a control unit (130), and a sensing unit (140). The inertial sensor includes a driving mass and at least two pads that are connected to the driving mass. The driving unit drives the driving mass by receiving a control signal and applying the control signal to the inertial sensor. The control unit is connected to the driving unit, and generates the control signal to be delivered to the driving unit. The sensing unit is connected between the inertial sensor and the control unit, detects information whether the driving mass is in an abnormal resonance state for the control signal, and delivers the information to the control unit.
