PURPOSE: A battery pack in a new air cooled structure is provided to make the battery pack compact and to reduce production cost as a coolant inlet is formed in the same size while a sealing process is omitted by arranging in a separated state to form a coolant flowing section. CONSTITUTION: A battery pack with multiple battery modules embed in a pack case having a battery cell able to be charged or discharged and a unit module ('unit cell') comprises one battery module (120d) composed of one or more of unit cell; and one coolant discharge unit positioned in front of rear of the pack case in a length direction of the battery cell. The coolant discharge unit is formed with two battery module groups being arranged symmetrically with the coolant discharge unit as a center; with coolant inlets being positioned respectively per each battery cell in a pack case section in an opposite position to the coolant discharge unit in a battery module; with a pack case and a battery module, in which the coolant inlet formed, being separated to each other as coolants flowed in through the coolant inlet are dispersed to form a coolant flowing area which gets into the battery module; to make the coolants flowed in from each coolant inlet to be discharge to outside via the coolant discharge unit after cooling the unit cell passing through each battery modules. |
