PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely hold and protect a clinical thermometer.SOLUTION: A first storage section 15 of a tray 9, which is provided on an operating face 5 of a main body 2 and made of an elastic material, has a shape that substantially fits a top portion 18a, a transitional portion 18b, and a sensor portion 18c of an electronic clinical thermometer 18. Dimension of a first region 15a, corresponding to the top portion 18a of the electronic clinical thermometer 18, of the first storage section 15 in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction thereof is made slightly larger than that of the top portion 18a, and four protrusions 21 which are made of the elastic material and protrude from the upper surface of the tray 9 are provided on the edge of the opening. Distance between the protrusions 21 located opposite each other is slightly smaller than the width of the electronic clinical thermometer 18 to be accommodated at the corresponding point. Thus, the electronic clinical thermometer 18 is securely held in the first storage section 15 by the protrusions 21 by pushing the top portion 18a of the electronic clinical thermometer 18 into the first region 15a of the first storage section 15 against the elastic force of the tray 9 and the protrusions 21. |
