PURPOSE: A radar device and an assembly method are provided to reduce the size of a radar device and the number of parts. CONSTITUTION: A radar device (100) includes a printed circuit board (120), base plate (130), and cavity (110). An antenna unit and an RF circuit unit are mounted on the top of the printed circuit board, and a base band circuit unit and a signal processing circuit are mounted on the bottom of the printed circuit board. The base plate combines with the printed circuit board. The cavity covers the RF circuit unit for protection, and combines with the top of the printed circuit board.
