PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control directivity of a multielement antenna in a system performing optical transmission of an RF signal exciting the multielement antenna.SOLUTION: An optical multiplexer (12) multiplexes output laser beams of a plurality of laser diodes (10-1 to 10-n) performing laser oscillation with wavelengths λ1-λn different with each other. An optical modulator (14) modulates output light of the optical multiplexer (12) with an RF signal. A wavelength separator (18), variable light delay devices (20-1 to 20-n), and an optical multiplexer (22) delay output light of the optical modulator (14) at a delay time for each wavelength. An optical fiber (24) transmits output light of the optical multiplexer (22), and a wavelength separator (26) separates the output light into light having an individual wavelength λi. An optical receiver (28-i) performs photoelectric conversion of the light having an individual wavelength λi, and excites an antenna element (30-i). A control unit (32) individually controls the delay time for each wavelength and the laser output power of each of the laser diodes (10-1 to 10-n). |
