PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To disinfect and deodorize an object without applying heat to the object or wetting the object.SOLUTION: This washing and drying machine comprises: washing tubs (2 and 121) for accommodating laundry therein; outer tanks (3 and 123) that rotatably mount the washing tubs (2 and 121) in an inner part thereof; doors (9 and 127) that are formed at a front face side of housings (44 and 129); and electrostatic atomization means (83) for supplying electrostatic atomization particles (82) into the outer tanks (3 and 123). The washing and drying machine has such a mode as to expose the electrostatic atomization particles (82) by using the electrostatic atomization means (83) after a washing course finishes and the doors (9 and 127) are opened and closed. |
