PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for sticking a skin material, capable of trimming the skin material in such a manner as the skin material is never peeled off, at a desired position of a backside of a base material in a single trimming.SOLUTION: A sticking system 10 includes: an upper chamber 1 and a lower chamber 2 for sandwiching a skin material S; a placing table 5 for placing a base material W in a posture having a gap G between an end area of a backside W2 and the placing table 5 while directing a surface W1 of the base material W toward an upper chamber side in a lower chamber 2; an elevating mechanism 4 for elevating the placing table 5 in a vertical direction; and a slide mechanism 7 for sliding a portion 52 of the placing table 5 in a horizontal direction. The sticking system is configured such that the placing table 5 has a built-in heating mechanism 6 and a heating element 6a is protruded in the gap G, the heating element 6a fuses a skin material S at a predetermined position of the backside W2 after the skin material S is stuck by wraparound from the surface W1 to the backside W2, and the portion 52 of the placing table 5 slides in the horizontal direction to apply a shearing force to a fusing part. |
