PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for treatment of an organic sludge, capable of reducing the use amount of a flocculant and capable of maintaining the low water content of a dehydrated cake.SOLUTION: The method for treating the organic sludge includes the processes of: diluting the organic sludge using a dilution water to prepare a diluted sludge; adding and mixing a flocculant to and with the diluted sludge without performing a solid-liquid separation to prepare a flocculated sludge; separating and concentrating the flocculated sludge; adding and mixing the flocculant to and with the resultant concentrated flocculated sludge to prepare a re-concentrated re-flocculated sludge; and dehydrating the re-concentrated flocculated sludge to prepare a dehydrated cake. The device therefor includes: a unit for diluting the organic sludge using the dilution water to prepare a diluted sludge; a tank for adding and mixing the flocculant to and with the diluted sludge without performing the solid-liquid separation to prepare the flocculated sludge; a unit for separating and concentrating the flocculated sludge; a tank for adding and mixing the flocculant to and with the resultant concentrated flocculated sludge to prepare the re-concentrated re-flocculated sludge; and a unit for dehydrating the re-concentrated flocculated sludge to prepare the dehydrated cake. |
