PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition suitable for producing a resin molded article having a good wood grain pattern under a wide molding condition, the resin molded article obtained by molding the resin composition and a method for producing the resin molded article. SOLUTION: This resin composition contains (I) a resin composition containing (A) a styrene-based thermoplastic resin, (B) a copolymer of methyl methacrylate with an alkyl (meth)acrylate, (C-1) a wax and/or (C-2) an amide compound, and (II) a resin composition containing at least one kind of (D-1) a maleimide-based resin, (D-2) a polycarbonate resin and (D-3) anα-alkyl substituted aromatic vinyl-based resin. The molded material of the above resin composition and the method for producing the molded article are also provided.
