The element e.g. elastic torsional coupling unit (1), has fastening elements (3) including a tubular sleeve, and oval-shaped and arc-shaped thread packages that are continuously wound with a thread and arranged opposite to each other. The fastening elements and thread packages are embedded in an elastomer body. Strands of the thread packages run between deflection regions of the yarn packages in a non-linear manner without an action of external forces on the fastening elements. The strands of the thread packages are provided with a V-shaped flat part. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an elastic rotary connection element.
