PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collector having a simple configuration, easy to use, and suitable for user-friendly self-propelled vacuum cleaners, and to provide a self-propelled vacuum cleaner including the same.SOLUTION: A dust collector includes: a dust collection container having an opening and storing dust therein; an inlet allowing dust sucked in through a suction port at the bottom of a self-propelled vacuum cleaner to flow into the dust collection container together with air; a filter allowing air flowing into the dust collection container to pass therethrough and traps dust; and a cover openably/closably pivoted at the dust collection container in such a manner as to cover the filter and the opening of the dust collection container. The filter has at its outer peripheral portion a packing member press-fitted into the cover. The filter has a projection at least at one place in the packing member. The cover has a notch for exposing the projection of the filter, is provided at a position facing the projection. |
