PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server installation position management system and a server installation position management method in which an installation position of a server can be certainly specified without adding new parts and functions to the server.SOLUTION: A server installation position management system 10 and the server installation position management method include: a server rack 11; a plurality of servers 12 to be installed to the server rack 11; and a protocol analysis adapter 14 which is installed to each stage contained in the server rack 11 and acquires an IP address of the installed server 12 by analyzing packets flowing in a network 13. |
