PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more uniformly coat a plurality of core wires.SOLUTION: A flat cable extrusion die includes: an inner die 30 having a core wire guide opening 34 in which a plurality of core wire passages 35 through which core wires 12 can be passed are aligned side by side in a flat form along one direction, the front end part of the inner die 30 being formed in a flat shape that is long in the one direction; and an outer die 50 having a resin discharge opening 52 that opens at the front end part in a shape that is long in the length direction of the front end part of the inner die 30 and short in the direction orthogonal to the long direction, the front end part of the resin discharge opening 52 being flush with, or located more toward the front than, the front end part of the core wire guide opening 34, the outer die 50 being arranged such that a gap through which an insulating coating material can pass to the outer peripheral part of the inner die 30 is formed. The core wire guide opening 34 and the resin discharge opening 52 are set such that the spacing, in the short direction of the resin discharge opening 52, between the opening edge of the core wire guide opening 34 and the opening edge of the resin discharge opening 52 is larger on the upper side than on the lower side at least in the midsection in the long direction of the resin discharge opening 52. |
