The present disclosure relates to an airbag arrangement (3) for a vehicle (1), the airbag arrangement (3) comprising
- an inflatable first airbag chamber (5, 5', 5"), and
- an inflatable second airbag chamber (7, 7', 7"),
wherein the second airbag chamber (7, 7', 7") forms a separate optionally inflatable airbag chamber connected to the first airbag chamber (5, 5', 5"), the second airbag chamber (7, 7', 7") being adapted to in a deployed state at least partly cover a portion of an A-pillar (16) of said vehicle (1) and/or a space below the A-pillar (16). The first airbag chamber may be a side impact protection airbag (5), a driver airbag (5') or a passenger airbag (5"). The disclosure further relates to a vehicle comprising such an airbag arrangement and a method for inflating such an airbag arrangement. |
