摘要 The invention relates to a method and apparatus for monitoring the operation of a fuel circuit shut-off valve 18 of an aircraft turbine engine fuel circuit 10. The fuel circuit comprises, from upstream to downstream in the direction of fuel circulation; a low pressure pump, a low pressure shut off (LPSOV) valve 12, a high pressure pump 14, a high pressure shut off valve (HPSOV) 18, and a device 20 for measuring the fuel flow in the circuit. The LPSOV closing time is greater than the HPSOV closing time. The method comprises; a step for ordering the closure of the valves in the fuel circuit, a step for measuring the fuel flow rate in the circuit carried out before the LPSOV is completely closed and a diagnostic step. The diagnostic step consists of determining that the HPSOV valve is defective if fuel flow is measured is not equal to zero, and determining that the HPSOV is operating correctly if the fuel flow rate measured is zero.
