PURPOSE: A packing member for a food container is provided to improve the closing function of a lid without a packing being separated from the lid. CONSTITUTION: A protecting member (12) has an inclination type coupling groove (15) having an outer end part of a lid edge (3) being coupled at one side. An inclination plate (18) and a bending plate (19) are formed for a sealing member (14) to be coupled with a groove of lower surface of a lid edge. The protecting member fixes a bending end part (16) of the lid edge by force-inserting through having the coupling groove which is narrow in upper part and wide in a lower part.
