<p>Obtained is a set of composite materials that contain a thermoplastic resin and post-consumer aseptic packaging containers (PAPC), such as tetra pack (TP) containers, mainly. The PAPC were previously washed, dried, crushed and milled until having a more convenient particle reduction. The PAPC were used in a wide range of concentrations. The thermoplastic resins and the PAPC were physically mixed with or without coupling agents and subsequently processed together. According to the mechanical properties of the products obtained together and the mechanical properties of the products obtained by the present invention, these are suitable to be used in the construction industry and mainly in the furniture sector. A single formulation of these materials may be subjected to different processes of transformation, in order to obtain materials with different physical-mechanical properties similar to those of different commercial woods, depending on the thermal treatment to which the same are su bjected, from waste materials.</p> |
