<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a breakage of a catalyst carrier and a dislocation of the catalyst carrier at the fixing position inside the case. <P>SOLUTION: In fixing a catalyst converter 10 in the vehicle body by an under band 30 and an upper band 48, when a bolt 54 is clamped to a nut 56, a tip 32A of a projection part 32 provided at the under band 30 protrudes and deforms a bottom 26A of a recessed part 26 in a case 24 toward the side of a holding material 22. Therefore, by the deformation part of the case 24, the holding material 22 intervening between the catalyst carrier 20 and the case 24 is compressed, so that the power of holding the catalyst carrier 20 by the holding material 22 increases. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
