PURPOSE: An information providing system, an information providing device, a router, an information providing method, and a recording medium recording an information providing program are provided to transmit specific information to a user. CONSTITUTION: A store information providing system (10) comprises a wireless local area network (WLAN) router (100) and a store server (200). The WLAN router executes a path control process determining a path in response to the demand of portable terminals (300A-300C). The WLAN router relays communication between the portable terminal and the server. A WLAN router is installed in a plurality of the portable terminals which belong to a plurality of customers. The store server is connected to the WLAN router and a local area network (LAN) (950).
