PURPOSE: A method for treating a cut side of glass is provided to maintain the high intensity and brittle resistance property of a cut side of glass and to shorten time required to process the cut side of the glass by coating a chemical reactive resin on the cut side of the glass and curing the chemical reactive resin. CONSTITUTION: A method for treating a cut side of glass comprises the steps of: coating a chemical reactive resin (12) on a cut side of a glass (11); and processing the cut side of the glass by applying light or heat to the coated side of the glass in order to cure the chemical reactive resin. The chemical reactive resin is one among UV curable resin, visible light curable resin, and thermo-curable resin. The coating method is either a roller coating method, brush coating method, nozzle injecting coating method, spray coating method, or dipping method. Shielding films are formed on the upper and lower side of the cut side of the glass before the chemical reactive resin is coated on the cut side of the glass. A chemical reactive resin is simultaneously coated and cured on a plurality of glasses to be coated using a multi-type method. |
