A method and an apparatus for generating a security key in a mobile communication system prevent denial of a service by a message attack in not only an RF level but also a protocol level. A master session key and an expansion master session key are generated from a long term credential(391). The device authentication, the user authentication, the generation/management of a session related key are performed from the master session key(MSK)(393). A mobile IP route key(MIP-RK) and a proxy mobile IP route key are generated from the expansion authentication key and a client mobile IP key and the proxy mobile IP key are generated from the mobile IP route key(MIP-RK) and the proxy mobile IP route key(397,398). |
