PURPOSE: A progressive multifocal side mirror is provided to maintain the viewing angle of a driver and to remove a blind spot caused by a car body, the distorted image displayed from a car side mirror and an incorrect sense of distance. CONSTITUTION: A progressive multifocal side mirror includes an inner area(A), an outer area(C) and a central area(B). The inner area and the outer area have the radii of curvature and the eccentricities different from each other. The eccentricity is a constant value in the outer area and a gradually changing value in the inner area. The radius of curvature and the eccentricity of both ends of the central area are equal to the radii of curvature end the eccentricities of the inner area and the outer area while changes gradually.
