PHOTOCURABLE ADHESIVE, AND POLARIZING PLATE AND LAMINATED OPTICAL MEMBER USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocurable adhesive exhibiting a low viscosity that enables application at room temperature and giving little influences on characteristics of a polarizing plate when laminating a protective film on a polarizer.SOLUTION: An adhesive is used to laminate a transparent protective film on a polyvinyl alcohol-based polarizer. The adhesive comprises 100 pts.wt. of (A) a photo-cation curable component, 1 to 10 pts.wt. of (B) a photo-cation polymerization initiator and 0.1 to 2 pts.wt. of an anthracene-based photosensitizer. The photocation curable component (A) includes, based on the whole amount thereof, 50 to 70 wt.% of an alicyclic diepoxy compound, 15 to 35 wt.% of an oxirane ring-containing epoxy cyclohexane compound, and 5 to 25 wt.% of a diglycidyl compound. A polarizing plate is obtained by laminating a polarizer and a protective film via the above adhesive, and a laminated optical member is obtained by further laminating other optical layers on the polarizing plate.
