PURPOSE: An online game reward item offering method and a device thereof are provided to award the winner of a tournament or a league every time he or she wins the victory with different items in a random way by having a pool of multiple reward items for the winners and giving one or more reward items randomly. CONSTITUTION: A reward item offering device selects some out of all the provided items as a reward and sets a cap at which a certain number of reward items can be given at the same time (S110, S120). The device creates several reward item groups which includes at least one reward item and should not have more items than the previously determined cap, and sets a winning rate for each group (S130-S150). If a character of a user's device wins a tournament of an online game, the device offers one of the several reward item groups regarding the winning rate to the user (S160-S180).
