PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: only one sheet of flexible disk medium can be simulated at a time in an auxiliary storage device.SOLUTION: An auxiliary storage device includes: data storage means including a plurality of storage regions holding data capable of being recorded in one sheet of flexible disk medium; change-over switch means for outputting information showing a first set state; interface means for receiving a request from an external device, outputting the request, receiving a response to the request and transmitting the response to the external device; and control means for receiving the request, executing processing for simulating a flexible disk drive set with a flexible disk medium corresponding to the request using the storage region selected on the basis of the information showing the first set state and outputting a result of executing the processing as a response. |
