PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly photographing object retrieval system in which high retrieval accuracy can be kept.SOLUTION: The photographing object retrieval system comprises a retrieval server 1 and a photographing device 3 which obtains an azimuth and a position of a photographing object displayed on a display unit 2 and outputs them to the retrieval server 1. The retrieval server 1 includes: a map database 4 storing map information on a region including a photographing position transmitted from the photographing device 3; retrieval means 6 retrieving a building indicated by a retrieval vector having a direction specified by photographing azimuth information, with a photographing position information set in a map space in the map database 4 as an origin; an option selection information addition unit 7 adding option selection information to the retrieval result and generating a display screen to be displayed on the display unit 2 of the photographing device 3; and a final retrieval result generation unit 8 generating a retrieval result image corresponding to the option selection information selected in the photographing device 3. |
