PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of improving security without hampering convenience of users.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: a detection part for detecting a user present in a prescribed monitoring area around the image forming apparatus; an authentication part for executing authentication processing to the image forming apparatus; an association determination part for determining, when a user authenticated to the image forming apparatus by the authentication part, and another user are detected in the prescribed monitoring area, whether or not the authenticated user and the other user are associated with each other as prescribed; and an execution determination part for determining availability of an operation executed by the authenticated user, or continuation of a job in execution by the image forming apparatus on the basis of a determination result by the association determination part. |
