PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device capable of tracking a subject intended by a user even when a tracking frame is set with an up/down/left/right button or the like.SOLUTION: A digital camera that performs tracking by continuously detecting a tracking area as an area of a subject to be tracked from a moving image composed of a plurality of images comprises: display means that displays an image based on an image signal; specification means for allowing a user to specify a subject from the image displayed on the display means; face detection means that detects a face area from the image; and setting means that sets a tracking area as a tracking target, and can set the tracking area on the basis of the face area. The setting means restricts setting of the tracking area based on the face area until a first predetermined time passes after the specification means is operated. |
