PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet post-processing device capable of precisely performing alignment processing of a sheet bundle even when the category of sheets such as sheet size is different.SOLUTION: A sheet is temporarily moved toward the downstream side in a transportation direction of the sheet to bring an end at the downstream side of the sheet in the transportation direction into contact with a stopper member provided at the downstream side in the transportation direction to form a sheet bundle on a processing tray 630. First and second alignment members 641a and 641b, which are respectively movable in a direction crossing the transportation direction of the sheet, are pressed on a first side of the sheet in two sides of the sheet along the sheet transportation direction and a second side of the sheet which is the other side in the two sides. A finisher controller unit determines which of the first and second sides of the sheet is the side that is previously determined as a reference according to a post processing position for performing a post processing which is specified when an image is formed. Based on the determination result, the sheet bundle is pressed in the directions of the first or second alignment member and the stopper member to perform alignment processing of the sheet bundle. |
