PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire 1 for heavy load, which is made lightweight without degrading durability of a bead.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire includes: a tread 2; a pair of sidewalls 3; a pair of beads 4; and a clinch section 5 positioned across from a sidewall 3 to the bead 4. A concave curved surface 21, with which a convex curved surface 22 formed at a radial direction outside end of a rim flange 30 is engaged, is extended in a circumferential direction at an outside surface of the clinch section 5. A ratio R1/R2 is 1.7≤R1/R2≤3.9, wherein R1 is a radius of curvature of the concave curved surface 21, and R2 is a radius of curvature of the convex curved surface 22 of the rim flange. A ratio D1/R2 is 0.05≤D1/R2≤0.09, wherein D1 is a depth of the concave curved surface, and R2 is the radius of curvature of the convex curved surface. Each of the radius of curvature R1 of the concave curved surface 21 and the radius of curvature R2 of the convex curved surface 22 is radius of curvature of an arc in the cross section cut by a surface including a tire center axis. |
