PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage type water heater having high appearance quality.SOLUTION: A water heater body 4 includes a tank unit 1 including a heat source unit 2. The heat source unit 2 includes a heat source machine 11 comprising a heat source section contained in a casing 14. The casing 14 of the heat source machine 11 includes a machine body 15 and a cover 16, wherein the machine body 15 has a flange 17 formed therein. A decorative cover 3 is applied on one side face of the body 4. The decorative cover 3 includes panels 21, 24, front moldings 22, 25 disposed on front edges of the panels, and rear moldings 23, 26 disposed on rear edges of the panels. The front molding 22 is provided with a flange cover 32 that covers and hides the flange 17 of the heat source machine 11. The panel 21 is provided with an overhang part 28 overhanging along a top face of the body 4. The top face of the body is provided with a cover connecting means 30 connecting the decorative cover 3 via the overhang part 28. |
