PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve estimation accuracy of the color of scattered light in an image.SOLUTION: An image processing system includes a calculation part 102 and a scattered light estimation part 110. The calculation part 102 calculates, for each of a plurality of first pixel regions 11, a first reliability 12 to be enhanced as at least one of (1) a first evaluation value having a higher value as a pixel value distribution in the first pixel region 11 is flatter in a color space, (2) a second evaluation value having a higher value as pixel values in the first pixel region 11 are widely distributed on an estimation plane approximating the pixel value distribution in the first pixel region 11 in the color space and (3) a third evaluation value having a higher value as a distance between the estimation plane and the origin of the color space is smaller, is higher. The scattered light estimation part 110 estimates a color 14 of scattered light in an image 10 on the basis of a plurality of second pixel regions 13 selected on the basis of the first reliability 12. |
