摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of detecting a moving object while reducing a processing load.SOLUTION: A detection line L is set so as to be overlapped with a spot where a distance from an on-board camera are longer in a region positioned in a right and left direction of a captured image than in a region positioned at the center of the captured image. A parameter table is defined so that the detection line L is divided into a short distance region, a middle distance region, and a long distance region corresponding to the distance from the on-board camera, and a parameter is different for every region. The moving object is detected based on: a pixel in which a brightness change is generated on the detection line L that is specified by the parameter of each region; and the brightness change of a pixel on the detected detection line L.
