METHOD FOR RECOVERING CARBON DIOXIDE CONTAINED IN THE EXHAUST GAS

PURPOSE: A method for collecting carbon dioxide from exhaust gas is provided to simplify a facility for collecting carbon dioxide and to reduce the cost required to operate the facility. CONSTITUTION: A method for collecting carbon dioxide from exhaust gas comprises the steps of: cooling exhaust gas containing carbon dioxide; absorbing the exhaust gas into a potassium hydroxide (KOH) aqueous solution-based absorbing agent in order to exhaust the exhaust gas without carbon dioxide; transferring the carbon dioxide absorbed solution in the KHCO3 aqueous solution form to a carbon dioxide collecting process; decomposing the dissolved carbon dioxide by applying direct currents to a cathode (10e) and an anode (10f) while the carbon dioxide absorbed solution is transferred to the carbon dioxide decomposing chamber of a carbon dioxide collecting device (10); transferring a concentrated KOH aqueous solution as a carbon dioxide absorbing agent to a carbon dioxide absorbing process by transferring a diluted KHCO3 aqueous solution to a KOH concentrating chamber (10b) of the carbon dioxide collecting device.
