PURPOSE: A telephone number recommendation system and a method thereof are provided to recommend a telephone number efficiently when telephone number searching is done on the basis of the calling history of a user. CONSTITUTION: A user terminal acquires information about the position where call is performed through a user terminal (S200), and acquires information about the time when the call is performed (S202). The user terminal generates calling history on the basis of the time information and the position information (S204). The user terminal acquires schedule information of the user (S206), and generates a telephone number recommendation list (S208).
