PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience of electronic equipment including a port to which external equipment is connected.SOLUTION: Electronic equipment 1 includes: a power supply switch 12; a port 11 to which external equipment 4 is connected; a power supply section 13 capable of supplying power to the port 11; a detection section 14 for detecting generation of overcurrent in the port 11; and a control section 17 for causing the power supply section 13 to stop power supply to the port 11 when it is determined that the overcurrent is generated on the basis of information from the detection section 14. When power supply to the port 11 is stopped, the control section 17 outputs video information which enables selection as to whether or not restoration processing should be performed. The restoration processing is to restore power supply to the port 11 while maintaining an on-state of the power supply switch 12. |
