PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive force control device configured so that a drive force for traveling a vehicle can be reduced even if such a situation that an accelerator pedal cannot be returned to an original position from a state of being depressed occurs.SOLUTION: A drive force control device for a vehicle is configured so that a pedal 11 connected to a rod 4 is depressed and moved in the depressing direction and a target drive force F corresponding to an amount that the pedal 11 is depressed is outputted. In the drive force control device, the rod 4 has one end 4a which is supported so as to be turnable on the vehicle in a vehicle longitudinal direction, and the other end 4b which is made to serve as a free end. The pedal 11 is mounted at the free end 4b so as to be rotatable in a circumferential direction with the center axis of the rod 4 as the center, and includes a rotational angle detection means 12 which detects the rotational angle of the pedal 11. The larger the rotational angle of the pedal 11 detected by the rotational angle detection means 12 is, the more the target drive force F is reduced. |
