PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning device improved in efficiency of emission of charged particles by causing high-speed air to flow smoothly in air with uneven flow velocity.SOLUTION: In an air conditioning device with a sirocco fan (blower) 3 and an airflow pipe 2, a flow velocity of air inside the airflow pipe 2 is decreased as the air is closer to a first inner surface 21 and increased as the air is closer to a second inner surface 22 opposed to the first inner surface 21. Further, a protrusion 24 protrudes from the first inner surface 21 to inside the airflow pipe 2. An ion generation unit (charged particle generation unit) 4 is placed inside the airflow pipe 2, between the protrusion 24 and an outlet 11. The ion generation unit 4 is fixed to a wall of the airflow pipe 2 by a bolt 5 penetrating therethrough outside the airflow pipe 2, with a tip of the bolt 5 screwed into the protrusion 24. The air with low flow velocity collides with the protrusion 24, the air with high flow velocity smoothly flows to the outlet 11 without being blocked by the protrusion 24, and air ions (charged particles) are pulled by the high flow velocity air to efficiently flow out of the outlet 11. |
