PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a transparent substrate from being damaged in a corner of a terminal part when external force is applied to an LCD.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device has a configuration in which a transparent body is connected to the counter substrate side of an LCD. Resin is provided so as to fill a gap between a terminal part of the LCD and the transparent body, and a film is provided so as to surround a part of a lateral face of the resin. The resin becomes a pillar to support the transparent body and a transparent substrate of the LCD. The film is provided for preventing an outflow of the resin and has a thickness thinner than the gap. The film is attached to a corner of the terminal part, and the resin is supplied to an inside area surrounded with the film. As a result, the end part liable to most easily break is reinforced by the film and the resin to improve the rigidity. |
