MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OF PRODUCT INFORMATION FOR MULTI BOM

PURPOSE: A multi bill of materials management system is provided to manage various products combined with several bills of different materials which can be categorized by their structures or uses, separately maintain each converted bill of material, and assist the conversion process. CONSTITUTION: A main server (100) includes eBOM (engineering Bill Of Materials) realized as a hierarchical tree structure highlighting the assembly of multiple parts. A first information server (220) stores the material information of the multiple parts. A second information server (240) stores the assembly sequence information of the multiple parts and additional information about some process parts. A third information server (260) stores the manufacturing process information of the multiple parts. Receiving necessary information either from the first server or the third server, a management server (300) selectively converts the eBOM.
