PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint capable of reducing the diameter of a tightening ring with small torque since the loss of rotational force applied by an electric work tool or manpower is significantly reduced.SOLUTION: The pipe joint includes: a plurality of tightening rings 6 longitudinally wound over the predetermined central angle of 360° to 480°; a guide member for holding the tightening rings 6 so as to permit diameter reduction deformation while restricting fall of the tightening rings 6; a roughly triangular mountain shape toggle member 11 projectingly disposed in a radial outer direction than the tightening rings 6 with the pipe unconnected; and bolt and nut connection X for moving the center top of the toggle member 11 in a radial inner direction so as to reduce the mountain height dimension of the toggle member 11. The tightening rings 6 have a projecting holding claw 7 in the radial outer direction, and when the toggle member 11 moves in the radial inner direction, the bottom edge side end of the toggle member 11 holds on the holding claw 7 to circumferentially move and the diameter of the tightening rings 6 is reduced. |
