PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive liquid droplet discharge head by reducing the number of parts to form a common liquid chamber and assembly man-hours as well.SOLUTION: The recording head 1 includes a nozzle substrate 2 having nozzle holes 2a, a liquid chamber substrate 3 having a plurality of pressurized liquid chambers 3a communicating with the nozzle holes 2a and liquid supply openings 3c to introduce ink into the pressurized liquid chambers 3a, vibrating plates 11 forming part of the pressurized liquid chambers 3a, piezoelectric elements 12 provided at places corresponding to the pressurized liquid chambers 3a on the vibrating plates 11 and causing pressure in the pressurized liquid chambers 3a by deforming the vibrating plates 11 by being deformed by application of voltages from the outside and discharging the ink in the pressurized liquid chambers 3a from the nozzle holes 2a, and a common liquid chamber 5 communicating with each of the pressurized liquid chambers 3a through the liquid supply opening 3c and supplying the ink to each of the pressurized liquid chambers 3a. A common liquid chamber forming substrate 21 forming the common liquid chamber 5 is integrated by one common liquid chamber substrate 5a made by SUS and a resin substrate 8 formed of a PPS resin. |
