PURPOSE: An online bidding system and a method thereof are provided to generate standard evaluation criteria by comparing and analyzing bids and estimates by subcontractors, to create a bidding file based on the standard evaluation criteria, and to deliver the bidding file to the subcontractors, thereby enabling fair and accurate evaluation of the subcontractors. CONSTITUTION: A bidding manager in an ordering company announces the content of a bid by online and offline and subcontractors upload the existing bids and the existing estimates to a website of the ordering company (S21). A comparison and analysis unit in a bidding server compares and analyzes the existing bids and the existing estimates of the subcontractors stored in a database (S22). An evaluation criterion setting unit generates evaluation criteria based on the comparison and analysis result by the comparison and analysis unit (S23). The bidding server sends the generated biding file to a client (S24). Using the client, content for the bidding file is filled and necessary files for bidding is attached before the bidding file is sent to the bidding server (S25). A bidding decision unit in the bidding server determines a successful bidder by evaluating the content of the biding file from the subcontractors based on the set evaluation criteria (S26).
