PURPOSE: A route guide method and a device for measuring the effect of advertisement expectation, and a method and a device for providing the information of advertisement expectation effect are provided to measure the effect of advertisement expectation by using an advertisement product that is applied to a device for guiding route, such as a time signal guiding advertisement, an agreement box advertisement, a banner advertisement, a alarm advertisement, a tour mode contents, and a destination pop-up advertisement, thereby providing the information of advertisement expectation effect for an advertiser. CONSTITUTION: A route guide device (100) includes a route searching unit (120), an advertisement output setting unit (130), an advertisement output information generating unit (140), and an outputting unit (160). The route searching unit generates route searching information by searching the route from the current location to the destination by using location information and map information. The advertisement output setting unit sets whether the respective information of advertisement product is output or not by switching on or off according to the input by a user or the predetermined method. The advertisement output information generating unit generates the advertisement output information for the outputted respective information of advertisement product. The outputting unit outputs at least one of the map information, the route searching information, and the information of advertisement product.
