FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and medical equipment. Device for protection of retina cells from irradiation of ophthalmological microscope during the process of cataract extraction contains case and working part. Case is made in form of two handles, placed angularly to each other and lying in one plane, connected by hinge of the first kind, and working part in form of two braches made with possibility of angular oscillatory motion relative to device symmetry axis. Branches are connected, at least, with three opaque triangular crimped elastic surfaces made with possibility of synchronic angular oscillatory motion relative to longitudinal axis of symmetry of each of crimped surfaces. Branches are curved with curvature radius congruous to retina curvature relative to case plane, and external butt end surface of crimped elastic surface in unfolded state represents ellipse segment.EFFECT: application of the invention makes it possible to reduce post-operative complications by elimination of negative influence on retina cells from ophthalmological microscope irradiation during the process of cataract extraction.4 dwg |
