PURPOSE: A thermoplastic transparent resin with excellent shock resistance and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent ultra low temperature efflorescence from occurring while maintaining excellent workability, surface hardness, high transparency etc. by injecting a crosslinkable monomer in the first stage. CONSTITUTION: A thermoplastic transparent resin comprises (A) a rubber latex core consisting of a conjugation diene copolymer and (B) a multi-layered hard shell cross-linked with layers except an outermost shell n layer (N is the fixed number). A manufacturing method of a thermoplastic transparent resin comprises the steps of: (a) polymerizing a conjugated diene monomer, an emulsifier, a polymerization initiator and a molecular weight control agent to produce a rubber latex core, (b) graft copolymerizing a monomer mixture having (meta) acrylic acid alkyl ester compound or acrylic acid alkyl ester compound, vinyl aromatic compound, vinyl cyanide compound and a crosslinkable monomer with the rubber latex core to produce a hard shell and (c) graft copolymerizing the monomer mixture having (meta) acrylic acid alkyl ester compound, acrylic acid alkyl ester compound, vinyl aromatic compound and vinyl cyanide compound with the hard shell to produce a hard shell non bridging layer.
