The article (1) has a picking part (4) detachably assembled in a handle (2), where the article is formed by a plastic injection technique. The picking part allows a user to judge cooking of food such as meat, after the part is detached from the handle. The handle has a supporting unit e.g. hollow imprint, to support a pointed end (12) of a metal rod (10) of the part when the part is assembled in the handle. The handle has a housing (22) to receive another end of the part, which is formed by an annular loop (13) having an opening (20) to suspend the article with the part to a hook. The annular loop is formed by a technique of molding of plastic material on the rod.
