The touch screen panel includes: a driving unit generating a driving signal; a signal sensing unit that is activated by the driving signal input from the driving unit; and a signal detection unit that generates a combination signal by using a sensing signal generated by capacitance sensed by the signal sensing unit, and counts a period of the sensing signal by using the combination signal to calculate a counting value and calculates a delay time of a remaining period after the counting, and combines the calculated values to determine a cell in which the capacitance is generated.
